This article covers the contact section of the Job (pictured below).
Adding Contacts to the Job
The contact section contains all contacts for this Job. There are two ways to add a contact to this list.
1. Add a contact with the ordered by or project manager drop downs. Once you select a contact from the drop down, they also display under the contact section.
2. You can also use the "Add" button.
2a. When you click add, you will see two sections; customer contacts and Job contacts.
2b. You can select from existing customer contacts.
2c. Or you can select <Add New Customer Contact> or <Add New Job Contact>.
i. If you click <Add New Customer Contact>, the contact will be added to the customer for future use.
ii. If you click <Add New Job Contact>, the contact will only be added to the Job, and not the customer.
What if my ordered by/project manager is not in the drop down?
1. Let's say that the Job was ordered by Yoda. However, he has not previously been entered as a customer contact, so he does not show up in the project manager drop down.
2. We would click "Add" > Add New Customer Contact
3. Next we would fill out Yoda's contact information.
4. We can mark Yoda as a site contact, billing contact, and/or main contact, then click okay.
5. Notice that Yoda now appears in the contact section of the Job, as well as under the ordered by/project manager drop downs.
6. Notice that Yoda's name appears in blue to indicate that he is the site contact.
