# Trial Balance

Trial Balance in CP Books is a financial statement that lists all the accounts in a company's general ledger along with their respective debit or credit balances. If the trial balance doesn't balance, it indicates that there may be mistakes in the accounting records that need to be corrected before preparing the financial statements.

#### How to find Trial Balance?

CP Books -> Other -> Reports -> Trial Balance

Use the Filter to narrow down your results, filter by branch, date, and/or GL code.

Click print button to print the statement

You can also click the hyperlink (in blue) and see in more detailed view of the GL Code

Change how the Debits and Credits columns display-show negative balance in the other column check/uncheck the box/
