You may have converted a quote that was total only and now want to print/see the quote with line items. On the quote screen the quote is now read only and will not allow you to change the print type.
If you open the quote through advanced finder you are able to see the quote with the different Report/Print type
in the menu click additional to expand the menu->click Advanced Finder->Search your quote and open from there.
You can also do this from the Find Field ticket screen, choose view all FT's for job
Then click 'Open' ->Advanced Finder
