Tech Hours on the Schedule

Prev Next

Tech hours on the scheduler are the estimated hours being pulled from the scheduled Work Orders.

After actual hours on the Field Ticket are recorded the grid is then updated with the actual hours for that day but the potential hours for the remaining scheduled Work Orders.

Example:

Johnny Appleseed is scheduled on Work Orders to work 8 hours a day Monday -Friday

Johnny worked on Monday and completed a Field Ticket. His actual time on Monday was not 8 hours but only 5 hours. The grid updated the actual time once it was submitted but keeps the potential time for the rest of the week from the Work Orders. His total time is now 36 remaining hours down from 40.

In the reverse case if Johnny completed a Field Tickt on Monday for 12 hours instead of 8 his total hours is now red to indicate it was over the estimated amount.

A couple more options to be aware of that may change the times in the grid, is if you are including travel time along with on site time, and showing the additional workers scheduled time in the grid as well.
