Weekly Scheduler

This is the only scheduler that allows you to look at multiple days at once. 

  • Click Weekly Scheduler from the CenPoint desktop Main Screen> adjust the dates that you want to view with the "View" drop-down menu in the upper middle portion of the screen. 
    • You can adjust it to view the following:
      • 1 day
      • 1 week
      • 2 weeks
      • 3 weeks
      • 4 weeks
    • Use the buttons next to "View" to adjust your view as well, if needed.
      • Buttons include: "Prev", "Next", "Addt'l Options" 
  • You can adjust the width of the scheduler on your monitor according to your needs if you require more space. Just use the adjustment arrows that will pop up along the edges of the scheduler and the tech/vehicle sections. 

Vehicles

  • The Vehicles for particular Jobs are organized on the right side of the screen.
    • The Vehicles can be grouped into Work Groups (which you can set up if needed).
    • The Vehicles do not have to be in certain Groupings if you do not want. That can all be selected with the "Addt'l Options" button. 

Technicians

  • The Technicians for particular Jobs are organized on the left side of the screen. 
    • The Techs can be grouped into Work Groups (which you can set up if needed).
    • The Techs do not have to be in certain Groupings if you do not want. That can all be selected with the "Addt'l Options" button.

Branch information shown:

You will also have the option to look at different branches (if applicable) via the "Branch" drop-down menu on the upper left side of the screen. 

  • If you want to view multiple branch schedules at once:
    • Click the (...) button next to the "Branch" drop-down menu> Manage My Branch Groupings> Add new> Click all of the branches that you would like to group together and give them a title> Click OK> Click close
    • Now, if you go back to the "Branch" drop-down menu, you can click on your Group Title and see all applicable branches at once on the Schedule page. 

Work Order Information Shown:

  • The Work Orders displayed on this scheduler are organized by the start time. 
  • The information shown in the schedule includes:
    • Work Order ID
    • Start time and End time
    • Task abbreviations
    • Job name
    • Job location
    • Customer name
    • Lead Tech
    • Additional techs/helpers
    • etc.
  • You can alter the information shown in this section. We have 19 different options of information you can display on the Schedule, and you can choose up to 8 pieces of information to display.
  • You can also color-coordinate different pieces of information. For example, you can display the Job name as Blue while the Lead Tech will be displayed in Red.

How to Customize:

Schedule drop-down Menu:

This menu shows you unassigned fields within the displayed Work Orders. 

  • If you click this menu and click "Vehicles," a gray background will appear on the Work Orders that have not been assigned vehicles. 
    • To assign a Vehicle to a Work Order, click on the name of the Vehicle you want to assign from the column on the right side of the screen, and use your mouse to drag-and-drop the vehicle onto the appropriate Work Order. 
    • If you wish to change the Vehicle that is already assigned to the Work Order, follow the same steps and a pop-up screen with display asking if you are sure that you want to switch the Vehicles. 
  • If you click this menu and click "Techs," a gray background will appear on all Work Orders where a Tech has not been assigned.
    • To assign a Tech to a Work Order, click on the name of the Tech you want to assign from the column along the left side of the screen, and use your mouse to drag-and-drop their name onto the appropriate Work Order. 
    • Assign the Lead Tech to the Work Order first, then all additional Techs that you assign to that same Work Order will show up as Additional Helpers. 
  • Etc.

Drag-and-Drop Features:

If you need to relocate certain aspects displayed on the Scheduler Screen, we have drag-and-drop options available. 

  • Transferring Work Orders:
    • If you need to transfer a Work Order from Wednesday to Thursday, you click on the designated WO, and use your mouse to drag it from Wednesdays column to Thursday. A pop-up window will then appear asking if you are sure that you want to make this change. Hit "Change." 
  • Transferring Tech's to Work Orders:
    • (see the 'Schedule drop-down Menu' above for more information).
    • With each Tech that you drag-and-drop, each one will be assigned to the WO.
  • Transferring Vehicles to Work Orders:
    • (see the 'Schedule drop-down Menu' above for more information).
    • With each vehicle that you drag-and-drop, it will replace the previous vehicle. 
  • Don't want to use drag and drop? Right click on the Work Order, Technician, or Vehicle for a list of options.

          

Location Features:

As the Technicians go about their day, you will receive alerts on the Scheduler for the status of the Technician.
