Article summary

Clover credit card processing (like nearly all credit card merchants) requires yearly PCI acknowledgment. This is normally a fairly complicated process, but CenPoint has worked with Clover to simplify this procedure. You're welcome! ;)  With the ever increasing amount of credit card fraud, identify fraud and stolen data on the rise, maintaining a safe environment for credit card transactions is of the utmost importance. Ensuring PCI compliance helps reduce your risk and helps ensure you are compliant with credit card processing rules.

This article helps you complete the yearly Clover PCI Compliance requirement. It is estimated to take less than 5 minutes to complete these steps. Please remember that Clover uses Clover Connect, CardPointe, CardConnect, PingOne, or FiServ. interchangeably (we know, it's really confusing).

In CardPointe, go to My Account-> Accounts, Click on 'Learn how to get compliant'

Click on 'Register' and create account for PCI Compliance.

The Merchant Id (MID) is found in CardPointe by going to Account->Administration->Descriptors.

Once your account has been created 'Sign In'

Click on 'Begin Step'

Verify the prepopulated organization information,  verify the other prefilled information, make corrections if needed, and enter the merchant executive officer.

Once all your information is entered and verified, scroll down to 'Attestation' and click 'Confirm your Attestation'

That's it! It should now show 'You're Compliant, valid until ____' (1 year)
