Manual Journal Entry can be used to do a "Push" In CenPoint but is not Pushed to your accounting software.
An example of using Manual Journal Entry is you have done a Push to your accounting software, and it is accounted for, but it is still showing up in Cenpoint.
Do not do a Manual Journal Entry if you have not accounted for the transaction in your accounting software.
Create a manual journal entry by going to A/R-> Data Push-> To Manual Journal Entry
Choose what you would like to "Push" and finish the Push process.
Go to A/R->Data Push-> View Log to see a Report of a Manual Journal Entry
If you need to delete the Manual Journal Entry-> Right Click on the Push ID
If you have pushed an invoice to Manual Journal Entry, you will then need to push the payment to Manual Journal Entry.
You will then need to manually add the payment in your accounting software.
Once you have pushed an invoice to Manual Journal Entry, CenPoint can no longer match the invoice in your accounting software, thus cannot push the payment
because it doesn’t know where it goes.
If you receive a message while doing a data push similar to the one pictured below it is because the invoice was pushed to Manual Journal Entry.
To track down the Manual Journal Entry go to the Invoice screen find the invoice number in the error message, then click Invoice Info.
On the Invoice Info screen click the ellipsis next to Acct Push ID, then click View Data Push
On the Data Push Report it will show what kind of push it was and the push ID.
If you need to delete the push, right click on the push ID.
