Field Ticket Overview on Desktop

Find Existing Field Tickets on Desktop

On the home page click on WO & FT flow to search for Field Tickets and Work Orders. 

Alternatively, to search only Field Tickets click on Field Tickets below WO & FT Flow.


Navigate WO & FT Flow search on Desktop

The Work Order (WO) & Field Ticket (FT) Flow feature provides users with a comprehensive view of all work orders and field tickets within the system. Here's a breakdown of its functionality:

  1. Accessing WO & FT Flow: Simply click on the "WO & FT Flow" option within the Home Page to access all existing work orders and field tickets. 

  2. Search Bar: Located at the top of the page, users can input keywords to quickly find specific work orders or field tickets.

    • Detailed Filter Boxes: Positioned on the top half of the page, these filter boxes offer more advanced filtering options for precise searches.
    • Open FT: Opens the selected field ticket for detailed viewing and editing.
    • View All FT For Job:  Opens a window with all Field Tickets associated with the same job as your selected Field Ticket
    • Open WO (Work Order): Allows users to access and manage the details of the chosen work order.
    • Open Job: If relevant, this option opens the associated job linked to the selected work order or field ticket.
    • View in Adv. Finder: Opens up an advanced Search system for more searching options.
    • Open Quote: If applicable, users can navigate to the associated quote related to the selected item.
    • Delete: Permanently removes the selected Field Ticket or Work Order from the system.

The Field Ticket search feature provides users with a comprehensive view of all field tickets within the system. Here's a breakdown of its functionality:

  1. Accessing Field Ticket search: Simply click on the "Field Tickets" option just below "WO & FT Flow" within the Home Page to access all existing field tickets. 

  2. Detailed Filter Boxes: Positioned on the top half of the page, these filter boxes offer more advanced filtering options for precise searches.

    • Open FT: Opens the selected field ticket for detailed viewing and editing.
    • View All FT For Job:  Opens a window with all Field Tickets associated with the same job as your selected Field Ticket
    • Open Job: If relevant, this option opens the associated job linked to the selected work order or field ticket.
    • Email or Text..: Allows users to email a link or a PDF of the Field Ticket and connected documents to the customer or contact to keep them updated.
    • View in Adv. Finder: Opens up an advanced Search system for more searching options.
    • Delete Field Ticket: Permanently removes the selected Field Ticket or Work Order from the system.

Create a new Field Ticket on Desktop

Usually the techs out in the field create the Field Tickets from the mobile app, but if needed there are two ways a Field Ticket can be created from the office.

1. Go to Scheduler -> choose the Work Order and right click on it -> select Field Ticket

If the Field Ticket hasn't yet been created this warning will appear

You may select "Create FT" and go on from there.


2. Go to Jobs->Select your desired Job ->Modify

Select the What & When tab, scroll down to Work Orders, and find your Work Order you wish to create a Field Ticket for. 

Select "View FT"


A popup will appear warning you if the Field Ticket does not yet exist, and you can click "Create FT" to continue on your way.

  3. Additional Actions via Ellipsis (Three Dots): Clicking on the ellipsis icon associated with each work order or field ticket opens a menu with various options:

    • Open FT: Opens the selected field ticket for detailed viewing and editing.
    • Open Work Order: Allows users to access and manage the details of the chosen work order.
    • Open Job: If relevant, this option opens the associated job linked to the selected work order or field ticket.
    • Open Quote: If applicable, users can navigate to the associated quote related to the selected item.
    • Delete FT: Permanently removes the selected field ticket from the system.
    • Delete WO: Similar to deleting a field ticket, this option deletes the chosen work order.

    • Open Work Order: Allows users to access and manage the details of the chosen work order.
    • Open Job: If relevant, this option opens the associated job linked to the selected work order or field ticket.
    • View All FT For Job: allows users to see all Field Tickets connected to the job that this Field Ticket is associated with.
    • Email or Text..:  allows users to send an email or text with all the documents and information that the Field ticket has.
    • Delete FT: Permanently removes the selected field ticket from the system.

Create a new Field Ticket on Portal

There are two ways you can create a Field Ticket.

1. Go to Schedule -> Choose the Work Order and click on it -> select Field Ticket and fill out the necessary information.

2. You can go to an existing job -> What & When tab -> Work Orders-> Add -> WO -> Add WO


Once you finish creating the Work Order you will see it listed under Work Orders in that job.

You can now click on the Ellipsis->View FT


A popup will appear saying a Field Ticket has not yet been created and ask if you'd like to make one.
